Helen Mirren’s Oscar Worthy Hair  Helen’s mane man, Creighton Bowman of Exclusive Artists gives us a behind the scenes peak as to how he got her ready for the biggest red carpet event of the year, last night’s Academy Awards. How did Creighton decide on her look? “I wanted Helen’s hair to be a classic homage to Brigitte Bardot while also complimenting her silver Badgley Mischka gown. We decided a on a classic updo with a deep side part and soft texture. The style was topped off by adding Chopard diamonds to her hair.” I began by having Helen wash her hair with René Furterer OKARA mild silver shampoo. This shampoo cut out any gold tones in her hair. Her gown was silver and we wanted her hair to match. On her towel dried hair I applied René Furterer TONUCIA no rinse fortifying and densifying mousse from root to end followed by spritzing René Furterer VOLUMEA volumizing conditioning spray no-rinse for extra texture. Next we did a soft, round brush blowout with a deep side part. For even more texture I added René Furterer NATURIA dry shampoo (Helen LOVES this product!). Lastly, I pulled her hair up into a messy French twist and fastened it with a diamond Chopard clasp. I spritzed René Furterer finishing spray instant hold over the finished style to keep it in place throughout the whole evening. Her hair had a soft, modern texture making it look healthy and chic.
