About Us

Oak Street Hair Group was founded by Eric Egea, a French stylist, who relocated to Birmingham. Original founders, Peter Sims and Eric’s wife, Lori, are now joined by the next generation of stylists and colorists. The partners and staff take great pride in providing services that are as unique and personal to each client. The Birmingham hair salon has gained local, regional and even national recognition, being voted one of the top salons in the US by Elle Magazine.
